COMBINATORICS OF MODULI SPACES,
HURWITZ NUMBERS, AND CLUSTER
ALGEBRAS
June 2-7, 2008, Moscow, Russia
Laboratoire J.-V. Poncelet and Steklov Mathematical Institute
The scope of the conference is the rapidly developing branch of mathematics, the combinatorial description of moduli spaces of Riemann surfaces and related topics, that flourished through several last years including, but not limited to, the combinatorics and geometry of Hurwitz numbers and cluster algebras together with their generalizations to algebras of higher rank, to constructing cycles on moduli spaces and investigating the related algebraic structures including those of the Schlesinger system type.
The workshop site — the Independent University of Moscow — is situated in one of picturesque areas of downtown Moscow and the Steklov Mathematical Institute is within the walking distance from the campus of Moscow State University with its magnificent Main Building and vast green recreational areas.
Organizing Committee: Igor Artamkin, Leonid Chekhov, Liza Kryukova, Sergei Lando, Armen Sergeev.

In commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the birthday of Lev Semenovich Pontryagin (1908—1988), an outstanding mathematician of the 20th century, the Steklov Mathematical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences together with Moscow State (Lomonosov) University are organizing an international conference “Differential Equations and Topology”. The conference will be held in Moscow, June 17—22, 2008. The goal of the conference is to give a detailed overview of recent achievements in the fields of mathematics related to the works of L.S. Pontryagin. The program of the conference will comprise plenary talks (50 min), section talks (45 min and 20 min) and posters presentations.

International Conference on Differential Equations and Dynamical Systems
Steklov Mathematical Institute of Russian Academy of Sciences, Vladimir State University, Vladimir State Pedagogical University and Moscow State University are organizing an International Conference on Differential Equations and Dynamical Systems. The Conference will be held in the city of Suzdal from 27 June - 2 July 2008 and will include the following sections:
- Dynamical Systems;
- Singularity Theory and its Applications;
- Qualitative theory of PDEs and Variation Problems.
- Workshop on Analytical Theory of Differential Equations.
I would love to attend the conference in Suzdal, too bad i am not a mathematician.
